This two-week scientific expedition will focus on the Richat Structure—an enormous, circular geological formation in the Sahara Desert. Also known as the “Eye of the Sahara,” its origins remain debated. The expedition's goal is to gather data on the site’s geological layering, search for archaeological indicators of human presence, and document the region’s environmental and cultural context.
